SCI takes great care to find and produce an excellent coffee, making sure farmers use safe, sustainable shade techniques and provide a fair wage to the workers.
Atop Cerro San Juan, a committed group of coffee farmers are working together to produce Terruño Nayarita. The coffees grown are heirloom trees, hand-picked and sun-dried on raised beds in the traditional Natural Process. The dried fruit process imparts a berry-like flavor that resonates with the spiced chocolate, similar to Mexican Cocoa.
Nayarita Reserve is an exceptionally clean & clear cup, with a lasting & sweet finish.
This coffee is roasted by XELA with the intention of maximum sugar caramelization. The roast appears to be a light roast level with a complete balance in sweetness and acidity.
